Pros
Lots of different soups (claims to serve over 100, has a ~12 per day). Tastes homemade. Reasonable prices ($5.50 for a large w/ bread is more than enough for lunch. Or small w/ sammy for $6). Friendly people.
Cons
No sitting space. Soup is a little underseasoned, but nothing a packet of salt cant fix. Better than the MSG bombs you get at grocery stores.
Other
Good people, good food in a tiny hole in the wall location. If you don't feel like having 4 days worth of food at Paesano's, get a nice light lunch here.

Im pretty sure they do water ice during the summer and the soup thing for cold times. Shoot, just found out the soup guy from seinfeld was there recently.
